25.06.2022Wildlands is brilliant… open world… uses Bolivia (actual country) as map… drone usage is smart/timely… the sidebar comms is pretty close to actual military (I'm prior service Army, current USAF), meaning dad joke bordering rated R at times level humor. (It's actually BETTER than the newer one, Breakpoint.)

25.06.2022Rising Storm is really up in the air. You have Jungle maps, where you may run around for minutes to get to an objective, but you also have city maps like Hue, which is an absolute meat grinder, or Hill whatever-it-is.
Redneck Savage
25.06.2022Republic commando is amazing. I still have my original Xbox copy.
Matthew Lennhardt
25.06.2022Siege is great…. if you like hackers
Z4A
25.06.2022Breakpoint has come a LONG way. I think it deserves a spot on the next list because it’s now what it always should’ve been – an updated sequel to Wildlands.

23.06.2022I am a tad bit disappointed that they chose Enlisted over Hell Let Loose. That is probably the best tactical WW2 shooter on the market right now. I'd also say Post Scriptum but the player base has kind of died off in recent months which is disappointing 😞

23.06.2022What about Army Of Two 😕?

22.06.2022SWAT 3/4, and now Ready Or Not all deserve a mention.

22.06.2022Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is one of my all time favorite games.

22.06.2022GR Wildlands is great as it lets you choose between stealth and brutal warfare but as most open world games the devs forgot to create randomness in it.
Once you finish the campaign there are the same side missions over and over without any variety.
In a world so vast and with a storyline this open you could create hundreds of different side-missions types but there are only 5 or 6

22.06.2022Zero Hour is a GREAT tactical shooter. It's still being worked on a bit, but it is what R6S should've been
Eric Singleton
22.06.2022Ghost recon advanced war fighter 2 was my introduction into online gaming on the Xbox 360, that was one hell of a game.
Thr coop multiplayer was amazing
Only game that came close to that much pure fun for me was mass effect 3's multiplayer. ME3 multiplayer was awesome.

22.06.2022God, you guys are straight up french kissing Ubisoft's ass. All of Ubisoft's titles over the past few years have been met with heavily mixed reactions at best. Wildlands was called outright pointless because of it's over arcing story flaws and gameplay that basically left stealth irrelevant because of how it would throw active combat at players regardless while having friendly AI that was a downright liability. As for Siege, the developers obsessive belief that any change equals improvement has left players increasingly frustrated with each passing season, with nerfs and gameplay changes that cater exclusively to the demands of the pro-league while actively screwing over the main player base, even going as far as to restyle the entire game in favor of a more sporty feel rather than a tactical one. It wasn't until this year that players are finally getting a number of changes they've been begging for since the game released years ago and the gameplay itself can still whiplash wildly between a run and gun shooter like COD but with worse movement and a hero shooter like a slower paced Overwatch. Prominent youtubers who heavily covered Siege have been slowly leaving the game because of Ubisoft's obsessive persuit of various gameplay aspects, be it cramming micro transactions into every aspect of each of their games or pandering to the small minority of players in the pro league. In the end no matter which game or franchise you look at Ubisoft has become one of the greediest gaming companies out there trying to milk every cent out of every title they own while watering down their brand to the point their business model will become unsustainable because not enough players will be willing to pay for games their games or spend money in microtransactions.

21.06.2022I really don't understand how people can think that CSGO is a tactical fps. It's a run and gun for me.
Brennan Orr
21.06.2022Lol as if u put r6 over games like eft and arma they are like 1000× more tactical r6 is basicly just a class round based shooter i would almost not even consider it tactical compared to the other 2

21.06.2022I don't like Rainbow 6 Siege because it doesn't have a single player campaign mode.

19.06.2022Breakpoint is also good now.. I still like wildlands more because is more fun but breakpoint is more hardcore with all those survival features.

19.06.2022Enlisted is goofy and clunky.
Hell let loose should've made this list. Way way better WW2 shooter. Super fun, super emersive, super scary. Lmao.

19.06.2022I expected Hell Let Loose on here but good list lol

19.06.2022I watched this video hoping that some of my favourites were on here. Alas, they were not.
Operation Flashpoint (both titles) were absolutely amazing! Way before their time.
Unfortunately I’m on console, so I don’t get much in the way of mil-sim, but that’s one I think deserves a spot.
Honourable mention to Ghost recon: Island Thunder as being one of my most played games as a child!
Also Conflict Desert Storm. As bad as graphics go, I can still get behind it today.
I want to also mention Medal of Honour: Warfighter, it had all the tactics that you could want, only let down by it being strictly multiplayer, which is unfortunate because of their illustrious history of making great single player campaigns

19.06.2022Squad is one of the best games you can play. I always wanted Battlefield with a heavy reliance on teamwork to win, over just going Rambo. You NEED teamwork to win. Great pick,
